Free workshop on healthy cooking for diabetes, at Hounslow

The Food for Life Diabetes class is being hosted by 3N Star, the health and nutrition company on 16th January (Saturday). The free healthy cooking workshop will be led by diet and nutrition specialist Ann Malone, this weekend. Registration will be at 12:30pm and the class starts at 1:00pm, running until 3:30pm. It will be held at 3N Star in Unit 4 Hounslow Business Park.

Diabetes is at an increase in West London and in this workshop people can learn about certain foods that can work to lower blood sugar levels, with demonstration of simple cooking and samples of recipes that are delicious and can be made at home.

Over 4 million people in Britain have been found to have diabetes on diagnosis. A million of people having Type 2 diabetes don’t know they have it. As for Diabetes Type 2, the condition can be turned around with a healthy diet with nutritional value, research shows.
