The tenth year of the Kent Big Weekend is to be held next year, 2016, with two-day tickets giveaway for thousands of people to visit the county. Dates were announced for the event, which is to be held on 12th March, Saturday and 13th March, Sunday. Kent Big Weekend is an opportunity tor thousands to visit tourist attractions and venues across Kent in the year 2016, which is the the 10th anniversary of the event. As part of this celebration, some special additions and bonus prizes will be offered during the event.
The event organised by Visit Kent, has the objective of encouraging local people to go out and about with family and friends across their home county, to explore its attractions and heritage. Last year, free tickets were donated by over 100 big and small attractions to the online ballot. More than 105,000 people registered last year for the 20,000 free tickets offered.
