A haunted Halloween party is being hosted at an historic building on the Hoe, in Plymouth, this weekend. The free event is fun for the whole family and the entertainment includes live performances from the Devonport Choir, giant grass games, Morris dancers, spooky story-telling, an aerobic workshop and much more. At dusk there will be a witch-hunt too. Ann Morrish is from the Liner Lookout which is near the Smeaton’s Tower. She said they were hosting the Halloween party with the cancer awareness programme, Bring on the Smiles, of Plymouth. The fun starts on Saturday, the 31st October and donations to the community group which is helping young people and children with cancer is being collected. They are also asking families to bring in their carved pumpkin with LED light. Candles and carving at the party is not allowed. The best dressed outfit and best carved pumpkin will be awarded prizes at the free event.
