There’s a free event for all in the family, running for a week, which is the Binfield, Warfield and Winkfield Arts Week. It comes back for a 11th year, with events including the arts, live music, theatre, crafts and much more. Running from 25th October, Sunday, to 1st November, Sunday, it coincides with the timing of Autumn Half Term Week. The free event has 50 free workshops, performances and talks, with tickets.
Binfield, Warfield and Winkfield, are 3 local parish councils organising the Bracknell arts week to encourage the appreciation of the arts in all aspects by the local population. The Arts and Crafts Exhibition to be held for 3 days is in Brownlow Hall, Warfield, running from 30th October to 1st November. No need of tickets for entry, to see the over 200 pieces of art and crafts on show. Visitors can meet the artists and directly buy from them.
Creator Jonathan Greenyer has been working on a creation, as part of the arts week, with local artists. It’s an enormous installation called Giant Caterpillar. The 30-feet long creation with 26 discs and large head will travel from a garden in Woodside to the Brownlow Hall, on 26th October, to be hung from the ceiling of the exhibition.
