Creative People, the music and arts organisation of Reading, will be holding an exhibition at Jelly’s Conversation Space on 10th October. They are sharing the outcome of of a week-long project through this public exhibition. The Creative People team had been resident from 5th to 9th October, at the Jelly Space, exploring a new project. This new studio space has been launched for artists to develop projects, by local arts charity Jelly.
The project has Becci Fearnley, poet and spoken work performer, with Nick Garnett and other artists collaborating to produce a collection. The work is influenced by the current work of Becci Fearnley. Creative People will open the work to public exhibition at Conversation Space, from 11:00am to 3:00pm, on Saturday, adjacent to The Jelly Workshop.
Thinkers, creators and artists are allowed to the Conversation Space in Reading town, which is next to Jacksons Corner, situated on King’s Road, to explore ideas or work and build their projects. The space is used one week at a time, by the artists, using up the full area. They use it from Monday to Sunday midday. On Saturday, from 11:00am to 3:00pm the artists must open to the public as a free exhibition, as per the agreement. Apart from that, they are free to open and shut as they like. The space is handed over to the next creative project on Monday.
