Birthability, the pregnancy and baby fair, at Warwick soon

October 6th, 2015 by Sandy

The Birthabiity fair is a free pregnancy and baby fair, which will be held on 18th October, Sunday, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. It will be hosted in Warwick, at the Chase Meadow Community Centre, Narrow Hall Meadow. Expectant parents, new mums and dads can find tips and new parents can bring their baby to the venue. They can learn how to use a sling. Or they can learn to create keepsake hand prints. Or learn about the local classes. Talks on home and hospital births will also be organised. Local midwives and therapists will be sharing knowledge on pregnancy, birthing and caring a young baby. Sarah Cossey helps with planning classes for Birthability and she said slings can really help a new mum with daily challenges. Donations of second hand blankets, slings or unused nappy packs will be accepted by the charity- Helping Hands, to support young families. The Facebook page – ‘Birthability – Pregnancy & Baby Fair’ will give info on the free event.
