A free workshop will be offered for women at Halfords’ stores. A free introductory winter motor workshop will be held on 12th October, at 420 of Halfords stores, that includes stores in Howe, Brighton, Newhaven and other places in Sussex.
The model Jodie Kidd posed for a photo-shoot to mark the start of the Halfords scheme, on Wednesday (30th September), held at their Horsham store. The free workshop sessions will demonstrate to participants how to care for a car. It includes checking of lights, wiper blades, engine oil and gives tips on looking after the car during winter. This includes a screen-wash check-up with a free top-up. When research showed that 3 quarters of women questioned did not check regularly their cars, the company said thy decided to plan the free workshops.
