The Codsall Beer Festival is the first ever beer festival, to be held here, on 3rd October, at the Codsall Village Hall. The inaugural beer festival of Codsall in Wolverhampton, is a free event for one day and will feature additionally various activities for young children, including a bouncy castle and performances of local musicians. They include Alexandra Jayne and the bands Cosmic Goldfish and Priory Road.

The festival will have over 25 real ales and 10 ciders on offer, from local and independent breweries. Dudley based brewery Holden will offer Tripples. Barbourne, the Worcester based family-run company, will offer ciders. Money raised during the event will be donated to Codsall Community Group, to help a 3-year old patient with cerebral palsy for surgery, according to Andy Evans, organiser from Codsall. He also said that Codsall’s independent beer festival he hoped will be the start of something long and was happy to contribute to great causes. Those attending the free event of Codsall Beer Festival, require to only pay for their beer tokens and glass.
