Free event to sing Creation in Sheringham

September 12th, 2015 by Sandy

Everyone is invited to sing in the chorus, as part of the Come and Sing events of Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society. Aspiring singers are being invited to join the free event, a day for rehearsing and singing Hayden’s Creation, on 10th October (Saturday). The place for the performance is at the Lighthouse, 62 Cromer Road, Sheingham. Registration opens at 10:00pm for the 10:30am start. An informal concert will be open to anyone to come and listen, which is at 5:30pm. Participants can bring lunch or have it at any of the cafés in Sheringham.

Society chairman, Bob Cumber, said Hayden’ Creation is wonderfully uplifting music that is based on the biblical story. The day is open to singers of all ages and abilities, to sing along with the regular members of Sheringham & Cromer Choral Society, he added. The society once again offers this as a free event for all, thanks to the generous grant from Arts Council England, Norfolk County Council and John Jarrold Trust.
