Free session at FACT’s Minecraft workshop

A free workshop at FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) on Wood Street, Liverpool, on 29th August, is welcoming children who are aged 6 and above to use FACT’s Minecraft server- CloudMaker. Children can explore and creatively make buildings and objects that is inspired by the Build Your Own Exhibition by FACT. The children coming here will be able to learn about open source tools, such as, Microsoft’s WordEdit or ScriptCraft, along with the tools artists use in Build Your Own. Children must bring their PC Minecraft account, so as to play in their own skin.
Minecraft is an independent computer game created by Markus Persson, which was released in Xbox360, Mac, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and some mobile phones. The free workshop will be held on 29th August, in the FACT Lab, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Participants can just drop in and join.
