The Skills Show at Birmingham’s NEC, running from 9th to 21st November is a 3-day free event, where admission is free. It is the country’s leading experiential skills and careers show, aimed at young people. The event provides the opportunity to visitors to experience hands-on the world of work that will inspire them, with the chance to unlock their potential also.
This year the event will identify the most skilled young people in UK at The Skills Show and put them to the 60 finals of the WorldSkills UK Skills Competitions. The finalists will be trying to become a UK Champion in their chosen skill. Those who excel could be selected then to train in Squad UK, which will represent UK at WorldSkills- Abu Dhabi 207. A wide rage of top employers, leading training organisations, as well as training providers, colleges and careers advisers will be on site to interact with the visitors to the show.
