Free taster golf night for ladies, in Lisburn

Temple Golf Club will soon be hosting a free golf taster session for ladies on 13th August, Thursday, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. The ‘Free Ladies Golf Night’ will be presented by Gary Wardlow, a PGA professional. Aundrea Gray, the past Lady Captain who is organising the taster session, remarked that this is an opportunity for beginners to try out golf in a friendly atmosphere. The taster night last year had over 30 beginners, some of them now play golf regularly, she added. She also said the hardest part is to get started, it takes a lot of encouragement from friends who play and a lot of courage to go out on the course. She started playing golf only 6 years ago, but has met some great friends and was honoured to be Lady Captain, representing the club and one of the highlights of her year was the winning of the President’s day.
