Brighton and Hove Pride marks 25th Anniversary with free events

Numerous free events will be hosted to mark the 25th anniversary of the Brighton and Hove Pride this year in the city on the south coast of England. On 19th July, the sporting fun day called Diversity Games Sunday Fun Day, will be held at Preston Park from 10:00am. It will be packed with activities for the family. It includes BLAGSS Sports Day with fun and games, a community picnic, Albion in the Community inflatable football pitch, 5K Rainbow-Colour Run, hourly sports displays, Zorbs, military assault course, the prize-giving ceremony of the Pride Diversity Games and many more. Another free event for spectators is the Pride Dog Show on 26th July (Sunday) at the Hove RFC, in association with the Coastway Veterinary Group. The dog show will feature a catwalk for a doggy fashion-show, refreshments and a bar. Other free events that are being hosted are- on 17th July (Friday), the Outcome exhibitions at Jubilee Library and on 1st August (Saturday) the spectacular world-famous Brighton Pride Community Parade, which is the anniversary year’s highlighted event.
