Free Training Seminar by Nikon School and Amateur Photographer
If you love photography here’s your chance for a place at the free Nikon School Seminar with Kate Hopewell-Smith. Get free tickets to the training seminar (subject to availability) which is to be cpmducted on 5th August (Wednesday) from 6:0pm to 9:30pm, in London. Amateur Photographer and Nikon School have over the past few months teamed up together to bring to photography enthusiasts and hobbyists free training seminars in London.
The photography seminar is by Kate Hopewell-Smith, who has specialised in Weddings, Boudoir and Portraits and also filming on DSLR. She has a reputation as a generous and strong trainer, plays an active role in the industry and writes for many photographic magazines. For the 2nd year she represents for the Nikon brand as an UK ambassador. With a background in fine art, she has a History of Art degree and work experience in the creative industry. When raising her kids outside central London, she took to photography as a hobby. It has grown into a successful business now. Free Boxfit taster sessions in Burton
The Sport Development Team of East Staffordshire Borough Council has teamed up with Burton Amateur Boxing Club (BABC), to offer free taster sessions for the whole of July. Thanks to the partnership of the two organisations anyone wishing to try out the free Boxfit class can have a go at it on a get-fit session by BABC. The session is held on Tuesdays, from 5:15PM to 6:15PM at the Boxing Club situated in Burton’s Bradmore Road. The sessions are to encourage people to get into shape and fitness enthusiasts who finish the first free classes can opt to continue with sessions at just £3 per visit.
The class will have boxing training methods and skills of a circuit-based session to improve participants’ fitness. Participants will be able to lose weight and get fit hopefully. It can be fun and motivation for anyone and aims to give people an alternative opportunity to exercise. Qualified non-contact boxing tutor will lead the sessions. Activity like hitting pads are non-contact activity, designed to give a high intensity workout. Deputy leader for cultural services of the council, Councillor Colin Whittaker, said that as part of their Healthy Borough Strategy, activities that encourage health and fitness are keenly supported by the council across the borough. Thomas Keble School sports fair offers a lot
The annual sports fair of Thomas Keble School, East Combe, Stroud, has a lot to offer pupils and families. The sports fair here is being held on 4th July (Saturday), between 11AM and 3PM.Visitors will see the activity-packed day showcase the sports on offer around the area. Clubs involved with the fair will offer information on their membership, training and more.
The fair will have a trampolining display. Included is an additional free running display and workshop. A range of have-a-go activities and tasters, from netball, tennis and rugby to badminton, basketball and hockey will be available. The fair will display unusual sports like tri-golf activity and an inflatable pitch with bubble football. Along with the free taster sessions and sporting attractions there will be craft and food stalls, dance performances and also a raffle. The Guest of Honour at the event will be England’s netball international, Stacey Francis. Organiser of the fair and head of PE Glen Price, expects more than 20 local organisations and sports clubs to involve and over a thousand people to visit the event.
