Free workshop on GPS at the Gateway Centre

A free workshop will instruct you on how to use a GPS. The workshop will be held on 11th July, at the Gateway Centre, situated in Spine Road, South Cerney, Gloucestershire. The session is led by experienced staff from Cotswold Outdoor, the nearby outdoor equipment store. It will provide an opportunity to participants for a hands-on introduction to navigating using the GPS system. All related information on GPS units, like getting to grips with geocaching, a pastime using a GPS unit to locate across the world hidden containers, will be provided. Or learn sharing routes with members of walking groups. Learn how to plot and follow a route, all with the chance of hands-on experience.
