Free events at Aintree Racecourse and Aintree Golf Centre

Two events will be hosted, on 28th June, Sunday, to provide a free weekend of fun at Aintree. The Equi-Trek National Show will be hosted at the Aintree International Equistrian Centre, starting at 8:00am this weekend. The venue renown for Equestrianism, runs every year over 80 equestrian events. It will see over 300 classes featured that includes Showjumping, driving and showing. Evening performances include The Showjumping Relay, The retrained Racehorse Championship, The Shetland Grand National and much more. (See website-.aintreeequestriancentre.co.uk for more info)

Aintree Golf Centre will also host on Sunday, a Community Day, with free entry, running from 10:00am to 4:00pm. A charity raffle will raise money for Alder Hey Hospital. Events include a falcony display, football games, bounty assault course, a free golf clinic and much more. Head of Racing at Aintree Racecourse, Andrew Tulloch, hopes to see new visitors to the equestrian event by offering fee admission, parking and access to bars/food stands. It’s ideal for friends and family, for those new to equestrian events and for British Equestrianism fans, he added. He also pointed out that both days would be fantastic for fans of all ages with free admission to the general public.

The Aintree Golf Club is one of the longest courses, iconic and unique in location, including a 30-Bay Floodlit Driving Range. It is now celebrating its 21st year. Manager at the golf centre, Nick Perry, said the Aintree Community Golf Day is a free day on 28th June, has a free golf clinic for children/adults and football games with EFC in the community.
