May 22nd, 2015 by Sandy

Plymouth will be hosting free events for CTC Big-Bike Revival, starting Saturday the programme runs to two weeks. The free event is run by Bikespace which is based in Devonport. The event starts on Saturday, 23 May, at their shop in Devonport, on George Street, and will run from 10am to 4pm. The free event will have something for everyone to try, like smoothie making bikes, or a cycle ride led around the city which will leave at 2:00pm. Anyone turning up with a bike gets free coffee and snapshots too. To persuade people to take up cycling, thousands of events are happening all over the country. After the launch of the programme on Saturday, a range of many more events will take place, which has also in it maintenance sessions for families and bike swaps for kids. The open day- Bike Revival, will be held from 10am to 4pm on 60, George Street. For a list of the free events across two weeks, please go to- www.bigbikerevival.org.uk/find-an-event/?postcode=plymouth
