The first day of the event will debut the screening of Funz and Gamez (by Phil Ellis). It will be followed by Janice Connolly’s performance as the character Barbara Nice. The following day will bring the first show of Fishbowl by Andre Mettam. There will be live performances by Lucy Beaumont, Daisy Cooper(as Kerry), Gemma Whelan (as Chastity Butterworth) with Joseph Morpurgo and Elis James performing multiple characters.
A ballot will open until 28th April for audience tickets and the free tickets can be obtained through the BBC website (http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/events/salford_sitcom_showcase_2015). BBC Writersroom will hold alongside Salford University, besides the new comedy, masterclasses and workshops.
