The Towcester Food Festival will be held this year at Towcester Racecourse on both 6th June, Saturday, and 7th June, Sunday. This year there will be a renowned circus performing for kids, a highlight for families. The Panic Family Circus are on site performing the whole weekend under their big top pitched in the middle of the event. The Circus will entertain children with storytelling sessions, clown shows, giant bubble blowing and Punch and Judy. There’ll also be circus skill workshops. And everything is free.
Crispin Slee, the founder of the festival, says this year it is bigger and better with over 100 food and drink stalls and lot more going on. The food festival will have free wine tasting, hosted by Catchpole Cellars, and cream teas. There will be a street food market, artisan food & drink stalls, free demos by chefs and (two) live music on lawns. The circus is a free event, but the food festival is ticketed, available online at the site- towcesterfoodfestival.co.uk. Accompanied children come free.
