St. Austell’s new dance studio offers free tasters

The Collide Dance Studios is all set to open in St. Austell. To start off, Collide will be offering free taster lessons to those interested in dance styles ranging from the contemporary to urban. The Collide Dance Studios, situated on Trevarrick Road, near to Speedy Hire, will be opening on 13h April, Monday, and offering unlimited free classes until 18th April, Saturday, throughout its opening week. People of all ages can visit the studio and try out the various dance styles. When classes expand, a ballet and tap dance teacher will be joining as staff in halfway of the term.
Collide is the brainchild of a dance teacher of Cornwall, Stephanie Lampshire, who grew up in Dobwalls. Stephanie said she loved dance, did her degree in dance and tried every kind of dance, to find that she liked contemporary best. She added that she had struggled to find particular classes earlier here and St. Austell seemed like a good place to open a dance school.
