Free tickets to final of BBC Radio 2 Young Brass Award

Here’s the chance to enjoy a brass music award event for free. Free tickets are now available to attend the BBC Radio 2 Young Brass Award final event, on 27th March, Friday, at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, that begins in the evening at 8PM.

Presenting the programme and also conducting the music there, will be Frank Renton and Ken Bruce. The Grimethorpe Colliery Band will accompany the featured music talents, such as Benjamin Goldscheider (French horn), David Gillson (cornet), Grant Jameson (Euphonium) and Adam Bokaris (Euphonium). Grimethrope will be giving a concert too, with the wonderful music of John Williams featured in the evening. The theme for ‘Born on the 4th of July’ will feature trumpeter Matilda Lloyd, the competition winner of 2014. The Award final event, with free tickets available, showcasing young music playing talent, will be broadcast live from the College of Music.
