Free workshops for annual Gasport Carnival
The annual Gosport Carnival is coming and people have started working to celebrate this annual event here, slated for 30th July. This year, for the summer event, there’s an animal theme promoted. Free workshops are under way and everybody is getting the town ready for the free event. The team behind the free workshops is Eventures Limited. The first one took place at January end, which was for children, was in costume making. The team is fund-raising to ensure that all the workshops are run free of charges, for the community.
The next free workshop is to be held at the Brodrick Hall, situated in Alverstoke, on 17th February, Tuesday, from 11:00am to 3:00pm. This sponsored event will have a penalty shoot-out and a dance workshop, all for free. A spokeswoman for Eventure said, it is great to see adults, children and family involved, even in the smaller events. She also said the team is planning to hold family workshops as well. There are specialist events suitable for adults too and also for children with additional needs.
