As a prelude to the Hebden Bridge Piano Festival, a free event will be hosted. It is the launch party for the festival programme of live jazz, to be held in April. The event will feature the local piano legend and Festival Director, Dave Nelson, who’s also providing jazz accompaniment to the launch event that will begin at 6:30 pm on 7th February (Saturday).
This year’s festival will feature world-class pianists. Lola Perrin the acclaimed pianist too will be performing. The festival will also nurture new talent and also present inexpensive concerts for families and children, demonstrate free non-classical piano music and host recitals by local students.
This free event will give the jazz festival fans the first chance to buy tickets and passes here at the Hebden Bridge Town Hall on St. George Street. Tickets are for the festival scheduled on 17th April. Tickets will be available from 7:00pm on 7th February. When the festival box-office opens 9th February (Monday) at the Town Hall reception desk, where in-person booking starts from 10am to close at 4.30pm, right from Monday to Friday (up to the Festival weekend). Alternatively, tickets can be booked online (using the form given at the programme or the downloaded form from the festival website) or by forms sent by post .
