The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) in Glasgow is hosting an unique event, a sleepover with artist Ellie Harrison, in a project called Dark Days, in their Great Hall. The project will start on 13th February, Friday, at 6:00pm and run till next morning, until 10:00am (Saturday). This project is a free event and open to anyone of age 18 or above, and can join Dark Days by registration.
Dark Days aims to explore the idea of communal living with the participants. The overnight event project expects up to 100 participants to join in, to explore the idea. Disaster and Sci-fi films have depicted the different ways municipal buildings have been used and this event wishes to debate the future alternatives. The artist Ellie Harrison has been for the past year an associate artist of the Gallery. The free event, the sleepover project, coincides with the participation of GoMA in the project- Early Warning Signs, now in its second year.
Register for the free event before the closing date of 26th January, Monday. Participants will be informed before 8th February, Sunday, of their places. To register, please visit website- ellieharrison.com/darkdays/.
