A range of free workshops are being offered to independent retailers, from across the Winchester district, to improve their digital skills, by the Association of Town Centre Management. Business owners, hailing form Winchester, Wickham, Denmead, Bishop’s Waltham and Alresford have the opportunity to get digitally savvy in business. The sessions are free and funded by the Department for Business Innovation & Skills, through Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership and Winchester City Council.
The 3 free workshop sessions being organised will be held from 4PM to 8PM, at the Guildhall, on 5th & 19th February and also on 5th March. The first workshop of ‘Understand your customer and digital marketing’, focuses on online marketing. The next session ‘Developing your business online’, is an introduction to multi-channel marketing and e-commerce. The last session is an introduction to blogs and social media, entitled ‘Grow your business through Social Media’.
Participants registering and not attending the free workshop will however be charged a cancellation fee.
