Free workshops on Christmas carols offered

If you love to sing in carols and have enjoyed it in 2014, then here’s your chance to join free workshops on carols being offered by Churches Together. If you had enjoyed the carols hosted in Hebden Bridge on Christmas eve at the Square, then you will be happy to know that a series of free carol workshops are being provisionally planned by Churches Together in 2015, so that some funding can be sought. The sessions are open to any variety of community groups, ages and abilities. The workshops, it is hoped, will be able to give participants, not only an enjoyable time, but also a chance to know more on their history, meaning, local traditions, tunes and various styles of Christmas carols.
