Ormskirk town in West Lancashire will be hosting special free events at the Chapel Gallery this January. The gallery will be hosting ‘Taking Tea’, a touring exhibition of ceramic teapots (provided by Aberystwyth University) that will be starting on 7th January (Wednesday) and run till 28th February (Saturday). Alongside the rare and unique teapots will be also the history of tea. The gallery will be hosting a free tea tasting event on 10th January, from 10AM to 4PM. Visitors can taste exotic teas from across the globe. The event will launch 7 weeks of speciality teas, served in the café.
Running alongside, at the Chapel Gallery, will be an exhibition called ‘The Curious World of Becky Adams’, from 10th January (Saturday) to 7th March (Saturday). Showcased will be Becky Adams’ works created by her interests in fine art and English Literature, a mix of text and textile. Free activities too will be provided for school, families and community groups. The opening day will have a free event for families to create collages.
