Bideford is all set to celebrate New Year’s Eve with great entertainment and events. There will be a series of free events during the day, provided by the Bideford Festivals Committee that includes a Ferris Wheel, fun-fair rides and roller-skate rink. A traditional fancy dress party will be hosted for children by Bideford Pannier Market. The organisers are attempting to make a world record by creating the longest ever conga line on roller-skates. All are invited to take part in this fun-filled free event.
Registration for the record attempt will start at 6:30PM and the event will start at 7:30PM. The evening will have entertainment on the former Radio-1 Roadshow stage. The Voice FM will head-up to the countdown to the midnight chimes of St.Mary’s. A laser-light show and fireworks will culminate the evening’s celebrations at Chudleigh Fort.
