This Christmas, customers who wish to subscribe to one of Sky Broadband’s standard unlimited packages (up to 17Mbps) are being offered the service free for the first 12 months, but thereafter at £7.50 a month. The offer includes a M&S voucher for £50. Likewise, customers taking up Sky Fibre Unlimited (up to 38Mbps on FTTC) are also offered the service free for 6 months, but thereafter at £20 per month.
However, subscribers on the unlimited fibre or ADSL broadband packages have to pay the usual Phone Line Rental of £16.40 per month, which includes free weekend calls to UK destinations. Existing Sky TV customers who fancy upgrading to this promotion package can also opt for it. As usual, the standard package on a 12-month contract comes with free activation, whereas Sky Fibre includes a £30 activation fee for customers opting an 18-month contract. Both free offers come with free Sky Shield software, unlimited access to The Cloud’s WiFi Hotspots, unlimited data usage and a free wireless router.
Free taster session for fitness after Christmas, at Epworth

Freesat, the subscription-free satellite TV service of UK, has launched two new Christmas genres, expanding its offerings to support the busy TV schedule for Christmas. Freesat’s in-house editorial team has hand-picked to create a selection of shows with a human-touch approach.
