Walking on Water-a Marketing Ploy or a Reality?

There was a story of man who got a dog capable to walk on water.

Once there lived a good hunter, who was amused of hunting birds. He shot numerous birds, but hunting a stork bird standing on the water was the most difficult. When he shoots the bird, it falls into the water. He had to get inside the water to fetch the fallen bird, making him all wet. As the time passed, he got an amazing dog capable to walk on water. The dog could just walk on the surface of the water as it does on land.

He wanted to show this amazing dog to his friends. So he went for a hunting with his friends one evening. The dog displayed its power meticulously, but the hunter did not received any comments from his friends. Finally, he asked them, “Is there anything you see unusual with this dog?”. His friends replied, “Yes. We do. The dog cannot swim.” What an attitude?

I read this story in a book about human attitude. However, it is not about the attitude that I am talk about. It is simply about ‘Walking on the Water’. Walking on water is a fascinating thought and we came across this in infinite movies and folklores. The said one is now a developing sport, performed by professionals under professional supervision. It has been dubbed as Liquid Mountaineering or Water Mountaineering. Water Mountaineering is a developing sports, which is attempting to walk on water. To be more precise, trying to run on water.

Recently, a video on You Tube that shows lads trying to run on water hit one million viewers. The video simply claims that by running with a slight curve and by wearing a special water resistant shoe, anyone can master the art of running on water.

Reportedly, some claims this as a brilliant marketing ploy for a footwear firm. What do you think? Is it a reality or a…………………..? Check out the video here.
