Free event to explain cloud technology use by public sector

December 6th, 2014 by Sandy

A free event will be held to explain the use of cloud technology by the public sector. The event, to be held on 10th December (Wednesday), between 10:00am and 3:30pm, in central London, aims to clear the confusion surrounding its use in government. The event will help specialists in information, digital and security areas in both the local and central government to discuss and explain the secure use of the cloud services. Presenters from both government Digital Services and private sector will discuss security, navigating the cloud and digital government as a platform.

The government has made reforms to its security policies. Participants can discuss the new security classifications, cloud principles and impact, with experts. They can explore how to better use cloud services. The free event being hosted by Salesforce and Tquila, will be held in Westminster, at the Church House in Dean’s Yard.
