A free workshop by Superfast North Yorkshire (SFNY) will be inviting businesses from the district to get social-media training to improve business. On 11th December (Thursday), the LinkedIn road-show will arrive at the Cedar Court Hotel at Harrogate. This workshop will cover all aspects of using LinkedIn, which has over 300 million users world-wide.
It will advice on creating a good impression first and building a network of personalised contacts. It will show how to develop trust, high-quality relationships and developing individual content. A SFNY spokesman said the session will provide a great day away from technology and office, to sit and work upon your LinkedIn strategy, to maximise efforts and produce best results, along with the opportunity to work with other small businesses.
Again in January and February, other master-classes on SEO and Social Media for Business will be held at Cedar Court Hotel. The support programme runs on till June (2015). SMEs, sole-traders and entities employing up to 250 people, are all urged to register for the free support programme.
