Free tickets will be distributed to thousands of young fans by the Scottish Government and the Scottish Football Association (SFA) for one of Scotland’s qualifiers in 2015 for Euro 2016. 10,000 tickets will be given free by SFA to grass-root and community football groups, across the county for the home fixture on 29th March against Gibraltar.

Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond, stated that as football is the national sport, many young people dream of playing in the Scotland team, and so to watch the action can bring them closer to their soccer heroes. He pointed out that the work at the grass-root levels cannot be overlooked and football groups and Community coaches who introduce the game to youngsters, should be kept involved. The free ticket give-away not only thanks them but also inspires youth to follow their passion to wear those famous stripes one day, he added.
