Sahaja Yoga meditation can be done normally sitting on chairs, to achieve yoga both spontaneously and effortlessly. No need of special clothing or mats. Learn to tap that inner energy called Kundalini energy. Everyone is welcome to the free classes. Bring in a friend too. Free taster session at new urban jazz dance company in Plymouth
Here is the chance to try a fee taster session with an intentional choreographer and dancer, Maryam Pourian. The new urban jazz dance company called COMPANY j, is a group set up by Barbican Theatre. Young people get the opportunity to train with Maryam for 2 hours a week and learn her blend of street, soul, jazz and urban dance. The classes are aimed for people aged 14 years to 25 years and held on Thursdays at Hartley House Dance Club, on Hastings Street, Plymouth.
Maryam who comes from a family of dance teachers, loves to support and guide young dancers to see the next generation of dancers, dance teachers and choreographers emerging. COMPANY j tries to showcase, explore and fuse various genres and styles of jazz dance. Get free tickets to Arbroath Abbey by Historic Scotland
As part of St. Andrews Day celebrations this year, Historic Scotland is offering free tickets to visitors to Arbroath Abbey and 35 other attractions/destinations. Up to 2 adults and 3 children can get tickets free, if they pre-register online at www.ticketgiveaway.co.uk, which will provide them with complimentary entry on either 29 November, Saturday, or 30 November, Sunday.
The giveaway is part of the Winter Festival campaign of the Scottish government, which is celebrating the four unique festivals of Scotland, which are St. Andrews Day, followed by Burn Night and Hogmanay. This also forms part of the many events across Scotland for Homecoming 2014.
Director of Commercial and Tourism for Historic Scotland, Stephen Duncan, said the free tickets as giveaway is a great way to visit some of the many iconic attractions and heritage sites across Scotland. Fiona Hyslop, Cabinet Secretary for Culture and External Affairs, said the St. Andrews weekend is the time to learn more about heritage and connect to the past.
