The Living with Diabetes Day workshop is being organised by Diabetes UK. Healthcare professionals will hold workshops on diabetes care at Holiday Inn, off Coldra roundabout, Newport, on 24 November (Monday) from 9.30AM to 4.30PM. The day is funded as part of the National Charity Partnership of Diabetes UK with Tesco. The day is part of a series of national events being held in 80 locations all over the UK.
The free workshop – Living with Diabetes Day, aims to help people who are diagnosed with diabetes Type 2 to access essential information that can help them live well with the condition. They will be provided information by healthcare professionals and experts will hold workshops on the practical elements, such as, medication, exercise, diet, travel and driving.
